Welcome!

My name, Karin, was pretty common when I was growing up...just not the spelling. Unless you are of German heritage like I am. So, I have spent my entire life answering the question, "What is your name"?... With, "Karin...with an "i"! Who knew it would come in handy all these years later when I went to name my blog.

Hoppy Birthday

Hi Everyone,

The DT at DRS Designs is getting ready to show off some cute new stamps later this week.  DARLING stuff!  Seriously, just wait.   How's that for a tease?!

Until then, I'm here with a simple birthday card I made for a seven year old boy. I think animals are great for any cards for a kid, and frogs are a usually a hit with boys.

I used the Tiny Frog and stamped it a few times and colored him up.  I used a circle punch to cut them out, and then used a smaller circle to punch out holes on by light green card stock.  I placed the colored frogs behind and then added a brown frame made using my punches.

I made sure I left room for the Hoppy Birthday Greeting and colored that in as well, adding a few extra hopping dots to connect up with the sentiment.

Inside I added a whole bunch of frogs and the adorable Unfrogettable Birthday Greeting to finish it off and tie the theme together.

Thank you for visiting today, and be sure to stay tuned to the DRS Designs blog this week, for peeks of new stamp goodness!

Karin
